Program Overview

Accounting and finance play an existential role in the management of any business. These are the basic tools required by any company to analyze its performance, develop strategies to tackle problems and achieve goals. Due to increasing scope and opportunities in this field, Jai hind college started this course in 2010.

The B.A.F.(Bachelor of accounting and finance) course is a comprehensive three year graduate program that provides professional education for those wishing to pursue their careers in the fields of accounting and finance. It has a strong emphasis on developing analytical skills and offers a solid grounding and professional competence in all aspects of commerce required for careers in the business and corporate sectors.

The dual major of Accounting and Finance enables students to understand the increasingly complex and critical area of finance coupled with knowledge of the practices of accounting. This course aims to produce graduates who will create innovative solutions to problems, apply research skills to business challenges and communicate effectively.

Key Features

  • This course is a full time course. The duration of the course shall be six semesters spread over three years.
  • It shall consist of 40 modules of 100 marks each.
  • B.A.F is the perfect undergraduate program for students planning to pursue C.A.
  • Projects, case studies, presentations, moot courts and industrial visits ensure a good blend of theory and practical in the course.
  • Provides the exposure of working in the industry during the Summer Internship Program which is a compulsory component of the program.
  • Additional benefit/option of the program is a chance to pursue higher studies with Colleges/ Universities abroad as part of the various linkages that Jai Hind College has.
  • The department also conducts various seminars and workshops Corporates to make the students well-versed in the fields of accounting and finance.
