History of Department

The Faculty of Law was set up in the year 1980. The faculty deals with teaching students at the senior college level. The students are given exposure to a wide range of Acts and Statues under the main stream subject of “Business Law”. The Subjects/Papers generally covered by the Department are Indian Contract Act, Partnership Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, Consumer Protection Law, Company Law, Intellectual Property Rights, etc. with the assistance of lecturers including Advocates as faculty members. The blend of their academic excellence and professional expertise helps to shape the careers of the students.

The Department has been constantly contributing for the benefit of the college by making the students equipped with advanced knowledge and updated with academic professional capabilities as per the changing legal norms.
